I sell original pieces as well as digitally produced products using photographic images of my artwork.  My original pieces can be found in my studio/gallery and classroom at Artists & Makers Studios in Rockville (Studio 41), at Gallery 209, and at various exhibit venues in the Washington metropolitan area. Digitally produced products–giclees, artcards, scarves, throw pillows, tote bags–can be found at my studio as well as at occasional art fairs.

Original Paintings

My website shows images of some of my paintings, but does not include them all.  In some cases the originals of some of those shown have been sold, but because I offer prints and other products using those images, these pieces are still included on my website.  (Notes included with each painting indicate whether the original as well as prints are available.)

Prices for originals range from $300 to $3000, depending upon size, media, and framing.

I decided to not offer originals for sale online because of the difficulty of shipping and ensuring framing preferences.  I sell my originals primarily at art shows and in venues like my studio (41) at Artists  & Makers Studios in Rockville, Maryland, Gallery 209, and at other locations and art fairs where potential buyers can see them in person.

If you are interested in a particular painting, or in seeing what I have available in the various categories that are not on the website, just email me.  I’m more than happy to send photos of pieces available, discuss prices, how pieces are framed, and possible shipping options.

Products using Digital Images of My Paintings

Giclee Prints, Note Cards, Phone Cases, Throw Pillows, Tote Bags, Duvet Covers, Shower Curtains, T-shirts, etc. etc.

Locally I have always had great success in selling Giclee prints and note cards created by using digital images of my artwork.  (Giclee prints are produced with archival inks tested for their longevity.)

With my website, I am providing the means to order these, as well as other items, online.  Over time, I may expand to other sites for broader online coverage and additional products, but right now, I am currently using FineArtAmerica.com as the key producer of products using digital images of my pieces.

Products ordered from FineArtAmerica.com are produced within the US (or at other international locations depending upon the location of the buyer to reduce shipping costs) within a few days of being ordered and then packaged and shipped appropriately. They are priced well and come with a 100% guarantee.

  • Giclee prints can be produced on different types of fine art papers, canvas, metal, as well as acrylic, and if you desire, you have a number of choices as to mats and frames.  There are lots of different sizes available.
  • Throw pillows come in various sizes and are printed with the image on both sides.  The fabric and pigments used are of high quality, they can be stuffed if you want, and there is a zipper.  They are washable or dry cleanable.
  • Tote bags also come in various sizes and are printed with the image on both sides.  The fabric and pigments are of high quality and they are washable in cold water.
  • Phone cases can be ordered for different models of iphones and Galaxy phones.
  • And there are duvet covers, shower curtains, and t-shirts!

I will also continue to offer prints, note cards, pillows, and other appropriate items in my studio and at various venues in the Washington, DC area.

Silk Scarves

At an open studio event, a number of people told me they would be interested in having silk scarves made with images of some of my paintings.  I have found a provider and the quality is excellent.  There are different types of silk available and both long and square shapes can be made in multiple sizes.  All are hand-printed and hand-hemmed in facilities located in California.

Many of my paintings would make gorgeous scarves.  I have some examples in my studio.  If you are interested, email me at cathy@HirshStudio.com and we can discuss options and prices.

Other Products Possible

There are so many possibilities of products produced with digital images.  For example, people have asked me about fabrics, and of course, there are coffee mugs, mouse pads, etc.  I am exploring these options and will update this page if I go forward with production of new items.

If you have particular items you are interested in, please email me at cathy@HirshStudio.com, and I will see what I can arrange.
